We are proud to be at the very heart of the town, the oldest school in Banbury with foundations back to 1705 as a Blue Coat School. We serve a diverse community, with pupils from a wide variety of ethnic, cultural and religious traditions.
"The school is characterised by excellent behaviour and attitudes."

Huge smiles, great teamwork, big bravery, and brilliant buzzing performances So proud of our amazing Year 2/3 stars and all of their hard work they put into The Bee Musical!
What a wonderfully muddy Forest School session with Year 4 today! Some of us make bird feeders from apples, carefully removing the pips with an apple corer to make sure they were safe for the birds a lovely example of compassion in action. Out in the woods, there was plenty of tree climbing, swing making, and some brilliant fishing rods which we used to fish in the puddles. With all the mud and water around, the children showed real endurance, and there was a strong sense of koinonia as they shared ideas, helped one another, and looked out for each other throughout the session. A fantastic Forest School day full of care, connection, and muddy boots to prove it!
In Year 2, we love having our music lessons with Katie from the Oxfordshire County Music Service. Last week, the Year 2s explored the meaning of 'timbre', where the children explored all the different sounds that instruments can make. They absolutely loved it!
Homeward bound from Kilvrough! Just about to leave the motorway and our current arrival time is 18:45. For those of you coming to collect your children, please park in the public car park so we have enough room to off load the coach safely. See you soon!
Everyone braved the caves today! We took loads of amazing photos inside, but since it was so dark we used the centre's special cameras, so we don't have them yet. Fingers crossed we'll get them soon and can share them with you. Everyone pushed themselves and had a fantastic time. Please continue to check MCAS and this Facebook page for specific updates for our arrival time home tomorrow.

Day 2 at Kilvrough – another brilliant day! Our second day of residential at Kilvrough has been full of adventure and smiles. Two of our groups took to the water for canoeing, working together brilliantly as they built confidence and enjoyed the challenge. Meanwhile, another group tested their courage with scrambling and abseiling, showing fantastic determination and teamwork as they climbed and descended safely. Everyone has been encouraging one another, trying new things, and making wonderful memories along the way. We're so proud of how well the children are supporting each other and embracing every opportunity. We're all looking forward to seeing what tomorrow brings!
Really beautiful here in Wales. We know that it is going to be a great morning! Love Lexi and Camille
What a day!! Today, some groups challenged themselves with abseiling, others enjoyed canoeing, and there was also lots of excitement scrambling along the beach. The children have shown amazing resilience and teamwork throughout the day, supporting and encouraging one another every step of the way. It's been lovely to see them stepping out of their comfort zones, overcoming fears, and working together to help everyone succeed. We are incredibly proud of them all and can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
Good morning from the sunny Gower where we currently have blue skies! Everyone slept well and we've eaten breakfast! All groups have finally left Kilvrough to start today's activities of either climbing or canoeing. We will update again tonight with more photos but here is a sneak peak of some smiling faces for you...
Here are a few photos of what the children got up to today. We spent time exploring the centre and getting to know where things are and the routines. We sorted out our kits, made our beds (or tried to) and have also done some orienteering. All children are now in bed and getting some rest ready for our first full day in Wales tomorrow
